Preg after miscarriage

I found out I was pregnant on July 2, 2011 , I was about 6 weeks preg when I went to the doctors. They did an ultralsound and saw the sac but no baby , My hcg levels were about 80 and they kept going up and going down througth out a period of 2weeks . so my doctor thought i could have maybe had a tubual preg so he did a D and C and checked my tubes. Well 2weeks later i repeated the bloodwork and my Hcg levels were in the thousands . They gave me a methotraxaite shot which is used to kill any dividing cells growing and another D and C. It is now Septemeber 6 and my levels are back down to the 40s , i was wanting to try again soon and was curious if anyone has been through this before and how long it took you to get preg again???

Before you try to get pregnant again, it is important that you have allowed yourself to grieve and that your cycle has returned to normal. Also, if your hCG levels are in the 40's, you may get false positives on pregnancy tests so you may want to wait until they are under 5 just for your own peace of mind.

Had a d&c and got pregnant within 6 weeks. My daughter is now almost 4 and super healthy. The only reason to wait is so that your period is regulated.
