Pregnancy after D&C

Thanks to all you ladies who have helped me through this and answered all my questions. The spotting did end up being subchorionic bleeding as some of you though it may be, but unfortunately I also miscarried. I ended up having a D&C today. I was soo scared to have one, ive had really bad experience with anesthia and thought I wanted to let my body pass the fetus & tissue naturally however the Dr thought it was nessecary to do it so I went ahead with it. It was the best decision I have ever let someone make for me! I chose to do local anesthia with sedation instead of going completely under. Other than the few pinches I felt during the cervial block shots, I felt nothing. It was comforting to be awake and conscience during the procedure so you have a sense of control over the situation. The hospital takes all early pregnancy tissue and fetus to a local funeral home to have it cremated where you have the option to pick up the ashes,or have a burial ceremony at no additional cost which i thought was extremely great. Im just happy to have had this over with so quickly and be able to move on  and start trying again. Has anyone gotten pregnant soon after a D&C? Again thanks to all of you who have helped me through this!!!
