Red highlights popping up?

Anyone else getting a color change at their roots? I have naturally dark brown hair, any natural highlights turn a mousy brown. But here I am dead in the winter and I'm finding red strands at my roots. They start at the root and go down an inch or two, so it's the new hair growth that is effected. They range from deep red to full on ginger, totally unusual for me and I'm wondering if this could be another pregnancy sign. Over the past week or two they've really started to multiply, seems so weird!

It usually happened around mid pregnancy but my red hair would start growing in light brown. A month or two after I delivered and the hormones started leaving my body it would start growing in red again. My husband and I joked that the baby was stealing the Res from my hair and sure enough she was born a red head as well.

I don't know bout highlights but I got alot of gray going on lol.... I'm only 29 but since I been pregnant my hair is getting alot of gray
