a few of my friends used the "pull out method" as a form of birth control...one has 2 kids, another has a 2 yr old and a thrid has 3 kids. i'd say it doesn't work so so well.

I used the pull out for 2 years and it worked,  but I also didn't have sex if I knew I was ovulating.

you know that info, probably the same way i have memorized the instruction "diagram" for tampax!, and all the TSS signs and outcomes!!!

when you're bored, you read whatever you see!!!

actually with my 1st hub, we used pull out for like 8 months, and never even had a scare!
but then, we knew what days to avoid!

I think you should just talk to him about your reasons why you want to try earlier than him.  Is he wanting to wait due to finacial reasons or does he just want the kids further apart in age.  You want to make sure that he agrees with this, otherwise you will cause a big problem in your relationship and you might start fighting more than ever

Enter devil's advocate:  According to the Durex package, it's almost as effective in clinical trials as using a condom.  Don't aks me why I know that, haha.   It's worked for me for 5 years... but I've never known what our "fertility" situation is so we may just have a really hard time getting PG in the end and it wouldn't have mattered WHAT method we used.  Anyway, whatever that's worth.

Well that is great, congratulations to you!! Its not that he doesn't want one more, he just wants to wait another year or two. I try not to let it start a huge argument, but it does, and its been a problem in our marriage now for about 6 months. I am just hoping that his feelings will change soon or that he has some good swimmers!! LOL!! I wish you the best!

well, my and my husband were in that boat.  I have a 7 year old son from a pevious relationship, and he has a 9 year old daughter from his 1st marriage...together we have the three 1/2 year old boy...and I wanted to try one more time.  I always wanted a girl so I wanted the chance to try one more time for one.  We talked about it and at first he was all NO NO NO...NO MORE KIDS....i explained to him how important this was to me, and how it isnt like I will have a second chance to get it, as you only live once.....and I made it sound like this was not a dream I was willing to give up on....well, after some convos we decided to try, and I am due to have my little girl in 2 weeks!!!

well, pulling out isnt really being careful.....When I went to the dr. after I got pegnant I asked her how many times she sees people get pegnant from the "pull-out" method...she said she sees it a lot.....

Well the reason I am asking is because I went off the pill at the beginning of this year. We have a 2 year old together, and I am ready for the next one and he is not. SO he is being very CAREFUL!!

well, judging by the three year old putting together a puzzle right by me...I would say that it is not a very good form of birth control, lol.
