Question about a recent miscarriage

On the 13 of july, I was 14 wks prego, I was told I was going to miscarry and the baby had not made it past 7 wks. ON Thurs,30july, I had the actually miscarriage. So I am wondering what day do I use as the miscarriage day, I don't want to call it an anniversary but I want to have rememberance time every year and I'm not sure what day to use. Like I said I was 14 wks when I found out but had the miscarriage at 16 wks 4 days. So what day do I remember? the day I found out the baby was no longer there, the day the baby was marked at 7 wks or the day I had the acutal miscarrage?

With my miscarriages it was always the day I actually physically miscarried. We also named our babies. Whenever we get to doing landscaping I will also have a memorial garden for them with little statues that hopefully have their names, possibly the dates as well.

I think this is a very personal decision and you need to follow your heart on this.  That being said, I too would go with the day that you actually had the  miscarriage.  Im so sorry for your lose.

Thanks. That's the day I was thinking of remembering but I didn't know if it was odd or not since the baby wasn't 16 wks even though I carried it that long!

I would mark the day the miscarriage actually happened. You could have a memorial for your little one every year!
