I get a massage once a mth and take a nice bath couple times a week...
I'm a massage therapist and how it works is the therapist will either prop you will pillows or have a prego pillow designed for expecting mommies... you can lay on your tummy if you choose, most of my mommies love being able to lay on their tummy but if you're uncomfortable you can lay on your side. Just communicate with you therapist and let him or her know if you get uncomfortable so they can reposition you. Also when you make your appointment let them know your pregnant so they can prep their table ahead of time. If you had any problems throughout your pregnancy make sure you let them know as well.
Hot bath is fine but if u stay in to long it can cause high blood pressure
No jacuzzies at all u need to retalk to doc about that. Massage works great they will work with certain muscles in back and mani pedi is awsome
If you tell the massage therapist, they will know what to do. Some have a table where there is a whole, some have you lay on your side, it just depends on where you go, but they will know!
I've never had a massage before (professional) but I've always thought that you laid on your tummy for those . How does it work for pregnant women, is there a hole in the table for your tummy, are you sitting instead of standing,... ect ?
Massages for pregnant women are fabulous!
Well, you can actually get in a jacuzzi for 10-15 and are suppose to keep arms above water to balance your temperature. And baths are ok, as long as the water is unbearable when you get in, then you are fine. I take hot baths and my babies are healthy. Anyway, maybe go get a massage? Mani pedi?
