well, I am 2 months post partum and returned to having sex 4 weeks postpartum. my delivery was through c-section, and every time i've had sex it was unprotected with no pull out. I had major complications at birth I was in the operation room 2 1/2 hrs because of a uterus problem. Any who i'm afraid because I havn't had a period yet at all and I've been having heavy discharge and now after me and my husband have sex all the stuff comes out right away at the begining it didn't also i have uteral pain during deep penitration. Im also breastfeeding 24 hrs only like 3-4 times i bottle fed expressed milk  if i had to go somewhere. can someone tell me what can be up?

I agree with the other posts, BFing is not a reliable means of contraception. What happened to waiting til after ur 6 week checkup before returning to sex? Your body isn't ready for another pregnancy yet, The pain you have may be your body telling you it is too soon to return to sex. Our hormones shift a lot during the postpartum period, and so ovulation and periods are unpredictable, so yes you could be/get pregnant!

With breastfeeding exclusively you may not menstrate but that doees not mean you aren't ovulating.  So missing your period is not something to look for pregnancy while bfing.  If you start

Women are VERY fertile after giving birth. With a c-section you really shouldn't get pregnant for at least 6 months since there is a risk that your incision site will rupture. I would wait and test again in a week. You might not get your period for a while since you are breastfeeding.

well i took a test it was negative and well i dont have any cramps or anything just diarea... hmm and cant really eat cuz im never hungry

hey cud be pregnant im in a similar situation i had a baby on the 13th of april and been having sex 3 weeks after used protection but slipped up a few times did a test negative but still no period and been getting cramps but no blood! do a test in a few weeks
