implantation bleeding

i was just wondering if anyone thats had implantation bleeding could tell me how long after the implantation bleeding did you take a test? and what was the results?

i have had it off an on fro a week now and was wanting to know if there was anyone else who has been in the same situation an did they have a positive result?

replies would be really much appreciated as i am at my wits end an am to scared to go to the docs atm unless i have to go

i usually have a gut feeling when im pregnant,i have had a gut feeling but its alittle different something i cant quite put my finger on

ive been advised not to worry about anything until i get the tests back from the pregnancy test an if that doesnt clear things up a blood test an then i will know for definate so i only have to wait a cpl of days to a week

Big fat positive on a pregnancy test.

And your friend is right, try not to worry too much about it. It could be the start of an off cycle, it could be implantation, it could be irritation, it could be anything really. Unless you're in a lot of pain, it's normally nothing to worry about.

im sorry im new to this and still not what everything means

today i experienced  a string pinky red mucus stuff it scared the hell out of me but my friend reassured me that unless i have pain with it its normal

i didnt have any joy at the hospital it was very busy so i asked to talk to a nurse and she said i would be waiting 6 hrs and they would only do a pregnancy test and to see my gp

i went to my gp this morning as there was emergency appointments and she checked my stomach and said theres something there but we will have to do a pregnancy test and it that turns up negative we will have to go blood tests to check my hcg levels

an until then i just have to wait :(

Well the tests aren't made to get darker as the hormone rises. They only detect that it's there. If you got a positive then you're pregnant.

I would definitely go to the hospital and get blood work done though if you've had a ligation done. They won't see much on an ultrasound, (if anything) but they can monitor you.

lol i have previously used tests out of the dollar store
my hcg just doesnt seem to go up until im like 10-12 wks along,i know this as i have 4  children and 3 of them i did tests early an they said negative until i did a test with my youngest an i found out i was only 2 weeks at the time

so what im asking is colud this be happening again as it did with 3 of my children?

i have had enough worrying i have decided to go to the hospital to be checked out as im worried about eptopic pregnancies i was told it was highly possible as i was sterilized during(well straight after while i was still open) a c section an was giving a 60-40 chance of it failing

I had implantation bleeding with this pregnancy at 9 DPO.. I thought it was AF coming and that I was clearly off on my ovulation. But basically what it was, was two quarter size spots on a toilet paper when I wiped of maroonish brownish blood.  I put on a panty liner and went out for abit, I had some light brown discharge for a couple hours and that was it.

hi again i did a test this morn with a pink dye an its still a very faint line

it wasnt a first response 1 though it was a sensitive 1 thou one that is the 10mlu sensitivity

i just want to know why its still very faint,because the last test i did was last wednesday and it was the same a faint line

i am now worried so i am going to get an appointment with my doctor

Hmmmm...well implantation bleeding isn't heavy. It might have been decidual bleeding or just some other form of bleeding. Decidual bleeding also isn't terribly common, but it can be heavy and very period like. Generally testing at night will yield inaccurate results only because your urine is diluted and if your hCG is low it won't show. The best thing to do is test with a pink dye sensitive test (such as First Response) with first morning urine. Good luck.

i did do a test from the first morning urine last week an it was a faint positive but when i did one a cpl of days later at night it was negative i do drink a lot atm due to feeling thirsty all the time, this was 1 of the signs i had when i had my 3rd child an also without knowing it i had implantation bleeding which i took to be my AF due to it being heavy and bright red it just didnt last as long , could it have been a false negative,could my hcg not have been strong enough at night as if i am pregnant i would only be about 2 week and only my 4th child did i know when i was 2 weeks the others i didnt find out till i was between 3-4 monthsan this was with taking pregnancy tests

i would appreciate if you could give me some advice thankyou

i feel really embarrassed as i already have 4 children an still dont know what is going on with my body as ppl say every pregnancy is different

You should be able to test with first morning urine. The bleeding won't have any affect on the test or results. Good luck

thankyou clysta im not bothered either way obviously i will be over the moon if i am pregnant but i just want to know for sure what is going on as it is driving me crazy

i still have the slightest bit of discharge do you think i should wait till this has gone an test or can i test in the morning?

i had implantation bleeding with all of my pregnancies. and i already knew i was pregnant.

Generally implantation bleeding is light and lasts for a max of a day or two. It's also uncommon though and only 30% or so of women actually get it. If what you have is actual implantation bleeding you can test a few days after you have it and get accurate results. Good luck! I hope you get the results you're looking for.
