I am in a similar situation, except I had more than one. I started my first period in 6th grade and it was irregular. Once I got to high school, I had one maybe 2 or 3 times a year. Once I got to college and had my first annual the dr put me on bcp to regulate my cycle. As long as I was on the pills I had a regular cycle, but once I stopped taking them I was back suffering from amenorrhea. I am now trying to concieve and have been put on provera to induce a period and clomid to stimulate ovulation. This will be my fourth round of clomid and I am really praying for success. Like everyone has said I would go to the dr and see if they can determine what is going on. Good luck.
The only time ive ever heard of woman not having their period is when they are SEVERALLY under nourished. Not saying you are or are not, but people who suffer from anorexia hardly ever get periods if they are too thin. Please see a doctor that is NOT right.
you should DEFINATLY see a ob/gyn. You need treatment, because that is not normal. Periods usually begin 14-16 yrs of age and they are MONTHLY. not once in a lifetime thing. Its impossible for you to get pregnant without a period. You need treatment. And the Doctor has to evaluate you as to what could be causing this problem. Im sorry!!!!
