did u get the test? what was the outcome?
Im not quite sure about that dear..
Levels of progesterone rise every month after ovulation, preparing the lining of the uterus for pregnancy.
When pregnancy occurs, the progesterone level should remain elevated. The ovaries produce the majority of progesterone through most of the first trimester, but eventually the placenta takes over production of the hormone by about the tenth week of pregnancy.
Your doc has to decide whether to give a shot or not at this stage.
Some (most actually) miscarrieages occur due to abmornalities in the fetus and in such a case progestrone treatment is useless and the miscarrieage is inevitable.
1 in every 5 pregnancies do miscarry unknowingly. So don't worry.
best thing is to get a medical checkup and find out what's going on.
Wish you good luck and a LOT of sticky baby dust!!!!
I'm going tomorrow to have a pregnancy test done on post. Hopefully they will be able to find out what is actually going on. Honestly there's no doubt in my mind that I'm prego I just hope that it takes and I can continue in this pregnancy and have a healthy baby before my husband deploys.
Can they start giving you progesterone even after you've already gotten pregnant?
hey dear..
I think you should see an obgyn regarding this prob of yours. I guess u'll need a treat of progestarone(which is taken from the ovulated day for upto 14 days) to keep the pregnancy going. You seem to have no problem in conceiving(which is cool and lucky) but it has to hang on in you. (may be your endometrium is not thiking as it should be)
good luck..and lot od baby dust!!!
Yeah I"m definately going to be making an appointment in the morning. We're military so I'm really hoping they can get me in quick, but I dunno. Thank you guys so so much!
Best bet is to take a blood test so you know for sure. A delayed or missed period does not always indicate pregnancy. If the test is neg maybe your doc can prescribe provera to jump start your period.
Ur husband may be right, u might just need a blood test
