I goggled it and it said saint nicolas used to be known as one if the biggest gift givers. said to put tiys in shoes and stockings its not popular in the united states but people are starting to come around to it its mostly popular in england and germany. Its pretty interesting. I WANT A GIFT!! Lol

No lol I live in Wisconsin. You guys don't have a st Nick who brings presents and fills stockings the evening of December 5th!? Its like Santa, and we still celebrate Christmas with Santa too, I guess its just a bonus holiday.
