baby not growing ?

I went to the gp and she measured and said that according to the midwifes notes from 2wks ago up til today that he hasnt grown/ measurements arent any different and if by next week (30 weeks) he still isnt growing much theyll need another scan to check up on him...also got told i am slightly anemic too. ahh :(

i had the same problem not long ago but it ended up being a bad measurement just because bub was curled up so he measured smaller. my midwife measured me a week later and he was right on track! i hope this helps

If it was two different ppl measuring, maybe one was an error...I'm sorry hun, hopefully ur next visit will go better!

I'm 28+3 and I was measured yesterday and the midwife said that I was measuring the same as I was at 24weeks. And said I might need to go for a scan. But she measured me again another 4 times to makes sure and it turns out he has grown and is normal. She said I must have been tensing my stomach muscles the first time which gave her a false reading. Try not to worry too much the midwife might have just measured wrong because you might have been tensing. All my best wishes tho!

Dont worry about it too much, when i was 35 weeks i was measuring 30 weeks with the tape measure, i got a scan and he was measuring perfect!! I think its just the way bubs positioned. Im 38 weeks now and im still measuring 2-3 weeks behind but hes definitely growing!

My measurements have been way off all the way through. During one visit as i was getting measured the midwife said i was measuring tqo weeks ahead and the baby moved and i was measuring a week behind. I hope he is growing properly and he is just curled up x
