TTC after m/c - questions.

I had a m/c beginning of March started spotting on the 4th and bled for about 5 days.  We are ttc again so here is where we are ...I have been using opk - neg so far, but dip in bbt and tons of ewcm 3-4 days ago, along with my normal symptoms of o.  Now yesterday my opk came up  pos.  and I am crampy.... What do I believe?  And how do you start counting for your next cycle after a m/c?  I read online that your cycle starts day 1 when the plecenta detatches.  But, how do you know when that happens?

Thanks!!!  I figured I probably wouldn't figure it out, so we are just bding every other day to cover all bases.  LOL!!  Who know if I will even O this month, they say that it could take several months for af to go back to normal.

I'm not sure about the symptoms vs opk...persoanlly i'd go with the opk only because I don't believe in bbt and cm....but that's just me!

I got ya - since they really don't have a "date" to go by they have to use the u/s for a date - so I guess that makes it harder for them to determine if anything is wrong in the every beginning.  That makes sense.  So, what do you think about my symptoms of o vs what the opk says?  And, how would you know when the placenta detatches anyway?!? (it must have been a man who came up with that one)

and I do hope you get a bfp!!!! if you do, probably they will go more by the u/s date versus day1(if you count from placenta detach) so that might just mean that your dates would change and don't freak out if an u/s say 5w2d instead of 6w4d ---if you get what i mean

Yeah, I've read different things about waiting after a m/c, but my doc said that it was so early that i could go ahead and stat trying again.  Honestly, if I hadn't been trying for a bfp I would have thought af was a few days late thats all.

hmmm, i don't really agree with cucle day 1 is when the placenta detaches because sometimes it can be months before you get your period. I think that is one of the reasons they suggest waiting until at least your first cycle is so that they can get a more accurate due date.
but that's just my opinion
