first response tests
i have a first response test, the one that has an extra test in it (3 tests ) and for all of you who havent read my previous post, i had intercourse on easter sunday nite. my period is due the first week of next month, and i was wondering if it would give me an accurate result if i tested this weekend?
i had sex all that weekend leading up to that nite. but i was pretty sure that he pulled out efficiently. but theres always the chance of him pre ejaculating, or him spilling a little without him noticing it. good news tho! i started bleeding today! bad news is, i have no clue what kinda blood it is. its very very light and i have no cramps. In my what to expect when ur expecting book, it says implantaion bleeding occurs anywhere from 5-10 days. and its the 5th day 2day......also it says thatsome pregnant women bleed and cramp a little around the time of their expected period.. HELP!!
Yes, it can if you had CM (cervical mucous). That CM helps keep the sperm alive. So if you had sex any time during ovulation time and noticed you had mucous-y discharge, then there is always a possibility for pregnancy!
haha ohh noo i know ur not tryna be mean! ppl are probablly a little to sensitive! even i can tell that you were just trying to be informative. But the lady at lifelines had told me sperm can live in the body for up to 4 days! how the hell is that? thats wat scares me

The egg only lives up to 48 hours so if you ovulated during that time, it is a lot harder to conceive after your ovulation dates.
thanks. my ovulation days is pose 2 have been 17-21, and i had sex on easter sunday. actually the next morning if u wanna count that it was after midnite when it happened. i dont think ur bein mean at all! im kinda hopin ur right cuz now is not a good time for me 2 be pregnant!
Well anything is possible. However, you said you had sex Easter Sunday and that's when you believe you ovulated?
Women ovulate 12-16 days before their period is due. If the time between ovulation and your expected period is less than 10 days it is impossible to be pregnant because the fertilized egg must implant. Google "short luteal phase" for more information on that specifically.
Otherwise I'd say that unless you had sex 2 weeks before your period is due, I'm not sure you'll get a positive. And I'm REALLY not trying to be mean or anything. I just want to be honest so you don't set your hopes high.

i thought of taken a test monday which is 3 days til my expected period. Every time this happens i get all worked up and then find out im not. but see this time it completely diff. deeep down i got this weird feeling. like i cant even explain it. but im not worryin myself over it cuz all the times ive done stuff and nothign happened. but see none of those times did the guy come multiple times without pulling out at all and without a condom. I dunno wat to think.i keep telling ,myself nah your not pregnant, but deep down like i said i got this undescribable feeling. and another thing is my period is due next week, and usually 1 week b4 my period i have this mad monster cramps startin. but i havent had nothing. and thats the main worrying thing. normally this past monday or tuesday i woulda started cramping and having sore brreasts. but ive had absolutley nothing and thats highly unusual.

I tested n tested n tested cuz I KNEW I was pregnant this time, and I never got a clear reading till I was about 5 weeks into the pregnancy.
And even still, it was a very faint one, where I ended up having to go to a clinic JUST to make sure.
Alot of your tests out there "Say" they can give an accurate result a few days before your missed period, but everyone that I know that've tried it never got an accurate reading from ANY test until they were about a week or so past their missed period.
I'd seriously wait a few more weeks to avoid a big waste of money.
