I bled from weeks 5-10 of my first pregnancy worse than a period due to a subchorionic hematoma and was only put on pelvic rest. They are actually a pretty common reason to bleed in early pregnancy and usually resolve on their own by 20 weeks. However there is a small chance that it could cause complications so have your doctor monitor you closely until it heals. Congrats on your pregnancy!

I had one, found out at 4-5 weeks and had it till 8 weeks from what I remember. My little guy will be 4 months on Oct 10th. I was not put on bed rest but pelvic rest. I did have maybe 4-5 more episodes of spotting but it did disolve and go away. They usually go away by 4-6 months if I am remembering correctly. They are pretty common now and not talked about as much before cuz the ultrasounds are better and can see more now so most likely woman ahd them and did not even know it before. Yes they are very scary and you should get shecked each time unless it is just continueing form when you got checked. It got an ultrasound each time:) Great for the picture book! SO rellax and rest and plan for your baby! Best of luck and calm vibes being sent to you mama

Yes I did from 6-15 weeks and my son is now a healthy 8 year old.  I was on bedrest during that time and it healed itself.  Good luck to you.
