Flying with a newborn !

So I'm due in 6 days ! My babies father is going to be out if town second week if march and we are planning on bringing the baby upnorth to his family by the end of march ! Baby won't be a month yet ! Are there any tips ? Or things I could do for a safe / calm 3 hour flight ?

Also chances are your bubba will sleep right through the flight lol her first flight at 3 weeks was 4 hours and she slept like an angel :)

I did the same thing! You'll both be fine. Biggest tip is to feed baby (either bottle or breast, i did breast) right when the plane is taking off and when it is descending to land. This stops babys ears from blocking and stops baby from being in pain. Thats the main reason babys scream on planes is when their ears block during take off and landing. Feeding them makes them suck and their ears wont block. The same reason why they sometimes hand out lollies before landing for adults :)

You will be just fine. I flew with my 2 week old newborn,  of course with the doctors consent. I just kept her bundled up very tightly...didnt want anyone lookin at her, trying to keep less germs away as possible.

I wouldn't recommend it...The baby's immune system won't be working properly just yet as well as the baby won't even have his or her shots yet
