TTC after a miscarriage.

I need to know that there are other women out there who are having the same kind of problem. In August I had a mc with a D&C. My DH and I have been TTC ever since. However while we are having sex I have (the best way to describe it) pressure pains while we are having sex. I never had this problem before the mc. Does anyone know why this is or has anyone had this problem too? I desire to do the same positions we used to do but it just hurts me too much to enjoy it. I want to make this TTC enjoyable and not so much work.

How far along in your pregnancy where you had your miscarriage and D&C? I know this is a little different, but during pregnancy you uterus grows(obviously) sometimes after the delivery or MC of a baby the uterus does not go back into proper position, after I had my daughter, my uterus was tilted, I had no idea, until I became pregnant again, 20months later, I had extreme pressure pains during sex for the whole 20months, I had no idea why. Then about a month before I became pregnant again, I had an U/S, they told me my uterus was tilted, I asked my obgyn if this was the cause of the pain, she said yes and now that my uterus is back in proper position, (it tipped back at about 14weeks pregnant). I have absolutely no pain. You can also have it corrected with a small surgery. I wonder if this could be the cause of your pain. But I would defiantly have it checked out. Its not normal. My husband I waited two weeks plus after my D&C and I wasn't bleeding and at that time I was really in the mood. At first there were no pressure pains (that I can remember). We both have lost a lot of weight 30lbs each when I first got pregnant so if you think about it I didn't have sex since the moment I saw the BFP because I just wasn’t in the mood and then the m/c. So I was "out of service" for about three months or so. I don’t know if it all has to do with my D&C or because it’s been a really long time or losing weight so less padding, or what. But, the odd thing the other day we ttc and I was perfectly fine during the most part except towards the end. I don’t know maybe it’s my body changing and trying to get back to normal or something. I will talk to my OB when I make my appointment for my pap. I'm not to concern about it it’s not painful just odd and I was wondering if anyone else had a same problem.

Just remember getting over a loss is different for everyone. I got over it when I got the D&C done because I tried to do it with meds first and a month went by and the clots wouldn’t fully discharge. So I had a full hard long month to morn. I believe once you are ready to TTC the morning will subside and you will be ready for a new pregnancy. Good luck to you both and I hope for the best. im sorry for your loss.. same here i just lost losr my son when i was 14weeks pregnant just recently. I can not say i experience the same problem because mine was so recent that me and my DH havent had sex yet. My doctor told me that i should wait atlest 2-4 weeks before i have sex so that my body can fully recover from the D&C or at least wait until the bleeding stops that means that my uterus have healed.

My question is how soon did you had sex with your husband? were you still bleeding when you started to have sex again..? you might wanna see your Dr. just in case to make sure nothings wrong. We had D&C and if we have sex right away that may cause infection.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I didn't have that problem after my miscarriage but I also did not have a D&C. Sorry I can't be of more help
