Taking Clomid and chances to be pregnant

Hi, myself and my husband are very eager to have baby and due to this I when and see my gyn dr and she ask me to take the clomid 2 tablets on my 2nd day of period for 5 nights. So I have taken during my last cycle which was in May 2010 and I never conceive. Now I am taking the second time start from 24th June 2010. I am supposed to take for 5 nights. Then dr did scan to check my egg size and most of it was small and only one was 3mm. So on the 13 days she ask me to come back to check my egg size. So any chances for me to concieve this time with the 2nd time of clomid medications? Please advise me. Thank you.

Both times I've gotten pregnant was on my second month of Clomid. Everyone and every cycle is different. If this isn't your cycle, next one could be THE one. I hope you get a bdp this cycle! Good Luck :-)

I didn't have twins at all with Clomid... One nice thing about the way Clomid works, is that the chance for multiples is not increased very much. It doesn't raise the chance for twins very much at all. :-) I'm sure the follies will be much bigger closer to ovulation. You should have good results at your next ultrasound :-)

3mm is very small. You want your eggs to be around 14-16mm I believe. It is very possible it will have grown and matured by the time you go back.

Is there a reason you're taking Clomid? It should ONLY be taken if you are not ovulating. Doctors are over-prescribing it so I would urge you to make sure this is something you should be taking. It can take a normal, healthy couple up to 12 months to conceive before they should turn to fertility drugs.

Hi there.. Thank you so much for your feedbacks and I also hope that this is my 2nd cycle and hope to get a good news by then.... I was so sad and I also can feel my husband depress when on father's day all cut the cake except my husband cant join the group as he have not become a father yet. I am hoping by nexy year's father's day he also can join the group with new born baby...

Dr have scan me during my 2nd day of my period and one of my egg was 3mm and she ask me to come back again on my 13days to check my egg. I am hoping so much that this times the egg would grow bigger so that i would be able to concieve.

By the way may I know you get twins or only one baby since you have taken clomid?
