Tattoos and Piercings
Ok, so i know pregnant women arent suppose to get tattoos. What about piercings?! No judgemental post im just as curious/anxious as these girls that post about hair color and relaxers. I have a ton of tattoos and piercings & im dying to get more!!! What harm can really be done to my baby?!
I went to professional place and they seemed fine with it but I wouldn't do it on your tongue! Mines got really swollen and I couldn't eat for days.definitely don't wanna starve the baby! I think it just depends.
And it's not so much harm to the baby. It's that your body is full of changing levels of chemicals and hormones, and new piercings r tattoos have. Higher chance of rejecting and getting infected
No new metal, no new ink. That's the rule of thumb in pregnancy. I know how it is, when you see the new piercing or tattoo you want, and you want it now! But nine months isn't too long to wait.
I'm so ready to finish my back piece haha. I have 7months to go though. **** *****.
Yea i think im going to wait to get it. My bd doesnt understand why i want it so bad and everyone keep telling me to relax its just a few more months. Its like i know im not suppose to but it makes me want it even more.
It's the risk of infection and it not healing properly while pregnant. My tattoo artist will not tattoo or pierce someone who is pregnant or breastfeeding.
No professional body piercing studio will pierce anyone they have reason to believe is pregnant. To knowingly do so is a breach of health guildline protocol and they could be shut down.
Havent had any infections yet but i want to get my other two tongue piercings. Thanks(:
I got my nose pierced when I was pregnant with my son. Nothing happened. Tattoos can put ink in the bloodstream which can effect the baby but a piercing is just a needle. If you don't get stressed about the pain and keep it free of infection there's nothing wrong with it.
I thought it was just me and i felt bad for asking but i really didnt know cause people keep telling me i have to wait but i dont see why... i complex everything hah
I heard we couldnt get piercings either. I want my nose redone but o rather juss wait ril the baby is born to be on the safe side
nope. no piercings either. But I def feel you, because I'm quite tatted up, and I'm dying to get my sleeve done. But we have to wait :)
None through piercing :) can't get tattoos like u said. Bc it can cause miscarriage. Piercings are fine though, I understand what u mean Bc I have tons of piercings andtattoos too and I'm craving another tattoo lol
