The worst back pain

I am 35 weeks tomorrow and I am high risk. About two hours ago I started getting cramps and the worst back pain I've felt so far. The pain has since traveled down to my hips and I can barely walk or lean on my sides especially my right side. I tried moving positions, sitting on the floor rather than the couch, tylenol, I even took a warm bath and my hips and back still hurt so bad! I am in so much pain and discomfort. What should I do?!

Praying you little one beats the statistics and lives  a long and healthy life.  I am a firm believer in God is the only one who can tell us how much time we have on this earth.  Whether it be five minutes or 100 years.  He is the only one who knows.

God bless you and your family.

Babies with full blown T18 have an extra chromosome (the 18th chromosome) and have severe heart issues, moderate to severe neurological problems, most have cleft palates, clenched hands and what they call rocker bottom feet. This disorder is also known as Edwards Syndrome and babies diagnosed are considered "incompatible with life". Boys have a higher mortality rate than girls but regardless there's less than a 10% chance that a baby with T18 will live long if born alive much less live to see their first birthday.

Unfortunately Yes. We've had numerous tests done. It started with a blood test, then a detailed ultrasound, followed by the amniocentesis test, then I had a total of 4 fetal echos done. All were positive and consistent with the disorder.

Maybe its just because we are getting closer to labor. The nap did help. I still have to walk slow because of my hips but the pain has almost gone away which I am happy about. Thank you for asking!

I just noticed that I'm very swollen down below too. I'll be 37 weeks this week. How are things going? Did a nap help?

My back pain has definitely gotten better even though it still hurts. Its a bareable pain now. My hips still hurt and I noticed that my private area is very swollen and kind of out (sorry if TMI). I know she's low but IDK if maybe this means the day is getting closer. I am 35 weeks today. Most women pregnant with a baby that has T18 would have already had their babies.

It has now been 3 hours since my post and the back pain hasn't gone away and I can barely walk because my hips hurt so bad. I'm going to try and sleep and see if that works.

I would suggest going in to l&d or calling the dr as well. I read your other posts so I know a bit about your situation. I think considering your circumstances you should call or go in just to be on the safe side.
