Thanks very much! I am trying to be calm as can be but at times I feel like I am just waiting for something bad to happen. I meet with my doctor on Monday and hope to get a better glimpse into how high of a risk he feels we are. I am happy to hear the great outcome for your step sister. It's comforting.
My step sister had a very thin uterus after a high risk pregnancy and c-section, followed by a pregnancy 4 months later. At 4 months into her second pregnancy she was on full bed rest in the hospital, and starting at 32 weeks an amnio was done every week to check for lung development. She was given steroids to speed up the lung development, the Dr.s wanted to do her c-section as soon as they could to prevent her uterus from rupturing. At 36 weeks she had her c-section and gave birth to a healthy baby girl who was able to go home with her 2 days later.
Take it easy and really follow your Dr.s advice, they will do everything they can to get you safely through the pregnancy.
I am sorry about your son, and I hope this pregnancy and birth are full of happiness and joy.
