Freeze blueberries dipped in yogurt. It's delicious and healthy :)
I eat fruits and veggies.
I eat pretty good for the most part but once a day I like to have a yummy snack lol To make myself feel better I eat frozen yogurt instead of ice cream (it's actually cheaper and taste the same) I try to add fruit inside as well. I love chocolate so now I buy dark chocolate instead of milk chocolate. Although dark chocolate may have a little more caffiene than milk choc., it contains antioxidants and is healthy for you in moderation :) but when I can't control myself I eat like crap as well. It feels soo good while I'm eating it but yet I feel so guilty afterwards lol
I'm right there with you on the junk food thing. Especially with Halloween being so close there's so much candy in my face. I just force myself to reach for an apple with peanut butter when I get a twinge for crunchy things. By the end I'm too full to even think about it lol. You can also but some yogurt cups and freeze them it's really good for an ice cream fix if you get the right flavor
Instead of candy I freeze my fruits and eat them. I'm really REALLY craving a deep fried candy bar lol I'm eating frozen grapes instead
Keeping it simple works for me. Breakfast is usually toast topped with avocado, lemon, paprika and lemon or with pb, banana and cinnamon if I feel like something sweet. Otherwise, yoghurt topped with oats and fruit. Dinner is always loads of steamed veg and grilled meat or fish. Easy to cook, easy to clean up after and I make extra to reheat for our lunches the next day. Monday through Friday I'm in this routine and then on the weekend I get a bit more adventurous :-P
I wish I could look at a Walmart.. I live on a small island in Alaska so we don't have that here. We don't have any "big name" stores.
I loveeee love grilled chicken salads now that I'm pregnant. & yogurt &/or oatmeal for breakfast. Walmart does, or should, have a healthy entree section in the frozen foods.. try looking through that, some are actually pretty tastey and very easy to make!
Subway veggie delight, fruit smoothies, chocolate milk, homemade fruit salads, oatmeal, multigrain cereals, grilled chicken, a lot of water, grilled cheese sandwiches, egg omelets.. Mmm well that's some of the things I eat..
Hmm I'm 23+1 and would like to know the same thing because it seems like I'm always buying bad foods .... Even though I've only gained 6lbs I know I need to eat better!
