Timing?!
Okay so what's the best time you TTC when your ovulation is this week? Like I wanna know time in days as well as time as in best time of day. I'm going to BD this week *cheers* I started becoming fertile today, and then tomorrow and saturday im supposed to be most fertile and then sunday im supposed to be ovulating. Can anyone give me a schedule to go by lol, like so that I can make sure this is my month. Is there a certain time of day we're supposed to BD also what days should I BD, and also what do you do after you BD.. do you lay there or what??
Okay I would BD everyday but then my sister has a specialist because she's been TTC for three years with no luck and specialist said every other day to stock the little swimmers back up :) So if I was doing the last option I would make sure the ovulation days was not a stock up day. We BD when we can fit it in e.g around work and not when too tired. Afterwards I sometimes sit upside down (depends how energetic I'm feeling) but mostly I push cushions under my bum to make my abdomen slope downwards in a way that says 'Get to my fallopian tubes now' :) I usually stay that way for an hour or fall asleep or watch episodes of the X Files I have on DVD.
I try to have fun unless it's like the 7th night in a row when sometimes it's a 'we have to make a baby and then sleep' time.

I've heard to BD every other day as well, but it never worked for me...Both times that I got pregnant, we BD'd every day the whole week that I was fertile.....Different times b/c I work 12 hour night shifts....so on weekends when DH is off and I worked the night before, we'd BD in the morning, other times at night when I was off, and once when he got home from work at like 5pm.......I know that others may not agree with the every day thing....but it worked for me....I was trying eveyr other day from Dec. (when I M/C) thru Feb. and nothing...then last month, every day and a BFP! Tons of luck!
I'm not really sur about position....We just did missionary, I didn't want to be on top and have the little spermies come out right after, although I hear that they are strong swimmers and that it doesn't matter....Then right after, I would have DH hand me a throw pillow and I'd lay with my butt propped up on it for like 15 min.....WHo knows if nay of that played a roll in my BFP or not, but that's what I did!
When I got pregnant last (but MC) we did it every day. This time we started on day 11 of my cycle so b/f was pooped & stressed cos of work day 15 we missed and my OPK said not ovulating on 16 so we missed then but BD'd every day after that cept the 19th.
I'm glad that I'm not the only one with my bum in the air.....very romantic isn't it?? LOL

I've heard different things about the sperm thing. I've heard that men don't have to wait a day or so to reproduce sperm. Their bodies make more when they are ready to BD. I've done it everyday when I've bee fertile and I was ok. totally up to you though. Good luck!

I read somewhere that as long as the man is healthy, his sperm should reproduce at a rapid rate and so BD'ing every day doesn't make for slow or less sperm...But I've also heard fertility specialists saying to BD every other...who knows!?!?!

Well, I ovulated on my 18th day and I'm not ashamed to say i did more than raise my *** in the air, I was doing a headstand practically for the first fifteen minutes cos there ws no way the little swimmers were not getting to that egg!! It's supposed to be nicer conditions for them up there so they should liver longer ;)
It's up to you whether you actually want to do the headstand thingy. You seen the episode of Friends where Phoebe is sitting upside down in the chair because she just had Frank and Alices embryos put in?? Do that, if you feel uncomfortable doing that though (cos blood rushes to your head) then just put pillows under your bum about 2 or 3 to make a slope.
OH MY GOSH! That cracks me up,.....Totally something that I would have ended up doing if I hadn't gotten a BFP this month.....I can picture it now! haha! Why does this have to be such a chore??? Ugh! I'll so be praying for you gals!
thanks for the prayers.. i can picture it too haha. i told DH did he wanna try making a baby when I got off and he replied quick hell ya lmao. He's like we're gunna have some funnnnnnnnnnnnn! I've never seen friends before, I could never get into that show *shrugs* but I can picture what your talking about though. We'll see.. wish me luck ladies!
HA! HA! HA! stresshead you are funny. Well last mth I didn't get my BFP but I'm trying again this week, I'm ov'in Mon. so I'm getting started 2nite but one thing I'm not going to do is let my dh know he gets more nervous than me.I'm just going to BD alot & lay on my pillow & sleep like that & that's how I got preggo last time (m/c in Jan).
