Just be sure you're replacing the no-meat sacrifice with another, like no sweets, only water to drink on Fridays, or something like that. :-) I'm Catholic too and the no-meat thing is not that impossible with fish, grilled cheese, peanut butter, beans, and other sources of protien, if you want to just go ahead. (we are exempt from the no-meat, so not arguing with that, but some sacrifice must be made)

Ancient, you can eat meat, pregnancy and age are an exception during the Lenten season.. but if you decide to go along with it, just don't eat fish with mercery, (tuna, sword fish). Eat a 6 oz portion of salmon. It's really good for you during pregnancy! No raw seafood (sushi with uncooked fish, raw oysters) stick to well prepared meals!
