Toxo from dog?

I am pregnant and have two indoor cats and two indoor/outdoor dogs. I am worried about toxoplasmosis. What is the likelyhood that my cats have it? My lab likes to run around the yard and dig holes and when it's hot lay in them. Could he contract toxo from a neighbors cat and bring inside on his fur? Up until a couple weeks ago both dogs slept in bed with me.

i have 4 kids and 4 cats and my doc just told me not to clean the cat box and if you must make sure you wear gloves doing it.

no its not possible to get it from your dog from a cat. its actually pretty hard to get. you would have to ingest cat poop.  if your cats have it (unlikely as they are indoor) then you probably came across it already sometime and have an immunity towards it. i would just have someone else clean the box, really not something to worry about too much.

Type your answer here it is very possibe, i would be extremely careful because you dont want to chance anything happening to you or baby. Good luck on your deision because I know it is sometimes hard for us to part from our pets when it had been just them and us for a lengthy period of tme.
