Tracking BBT: Does the Temp Dip mean it's too late to TTC?

I've been tracking my BBT for the past 2 months. I woke up this morning and I had a major temp dip. This makes sense because I am on CD16 today so I should be ovulating around this time. DH and I didn't have a chance to BD these past 2 days. Is it too late to conceive this cycle? We will definitely be DTD tonight!

Does the temp dip signify that I already ovulated or will be ovulating?

I also haven't had any of the normal ovulation cramps that I get each cycle.

The day after you ovulate your temp will rise .4-.6 degrees, you have to have three consecutive days of high temperature to confirm you ovulated. So you haven't ovulated yet. You're on the same day as me! BD BD BD!!!

from what I understand...the temp dip indicates ovulation day, BUT you only know for sure from your BBTs AFTER you ovulate because your temp has to STAY up for 3 days after the dip...otherwise you may not have ovulated.

I am not 100% but I thought that it dipped and then went back up just before ovulation.  I would be DTD tonight.  Good luck.
