Hemriods during pregnancy

Who has gotten them and what do you do for the discomfort?

I had constipation and bloating from day one of my pregnancy. I had hemorrhoids around week 6 and I used the Tucks medicated pads. I was also prescribed prenatal vitamins with stool softener in them I ate lots of prunes too.  I only got to 12 weeks when I m/c and had them the whole time.

Prune Juice.

I never had hemmoriods during pregnancy but ever since the birth of my son 3 months ago I've had hemmoriods. At first it hurt so bad to go to the washroom I cried everytime. But now since the pruce juice it has been better.

UGH another unfortunate side effect of pregnancy....... I use the medicated pads with witch hazel or the cream, preporation H I think it is....  It also helps so soak in a nice Warm bath.... it will bring down the swelling! Talk to yoru doc if you havent already... he might have some good advice as well. They might even suggenst stool softners.... it will help make it easier to go.... and less painful
