So I called them today at 8:45 am to let then know I had bleeding Saturday after having sex. I left MY phone number they ended up calling my husband at work around 4:58pm saying I didn't leave a detailed message wtf!! How more detailed do I have to get?! And seriously it took all day to call ugh I hate phone tag!

I don't blame you I know how doctor offices are so when I have a question I just call labor and delivery since I can speak with someone right then an there.

Your doctor doesn't have an answering service? For me, if I have any problems and call after hours there's a 24 hr on call midwife that is there to answer any questions.  Personally if I ever have to leave a message I leave my name and phone number never a "detailed message" of what's wrong with me (usually when I call it's TMI so I prefer not to). Maybe on your next visit address the issue with your doctor.  You need to be comfortable enough to know someone is always available to help or answer questions
