I've tried everything. Walking, bouncing on the birthing ball, pineapple, spicy food. Nothing has worked. I'm being induced next Thursday at 42 weeks

Ditto to that. I've also tried EVERYTHING yet nothing works at all.
Think I've finally realised, nothing will rele start labor. The only thing that will is when your baby is good and ready to start it themselves!
So now I'm jus gonna sit back try to relax and jus think no matter what I'll have my lil boy here soon, he can't stay there forever! :)

sorry but when i had my son ive been trying everything i found on the internet to get labour started, but my son only came out at 41 week and 2 days :(
tried raspberry leaf tea, walking, going  up and down the stairs, spicy food ( i ate a lot of spicy food anyways during pregnancy) i even tried castor oil! yuck!! i took 2 big tablespoons of castor oil, nothing happened (castor oil is supposed to give diarrhia, which then helps contractions to start) then next day i took the whole bottle of castor oil, mixed with coca cola to make it less disgussting... still didn't work... and i still can't drink cola much..reminds me of castor oil :(
