Ultrasound Dates and Conception

I really need some help to determine my conception date. So please respond if you can help.
Why is it that some people say you minus two weeks from your LMP last menstrual period to determine conception?
I would have thought that you concieve two weeks after you LMP.
I have had three ultrasounds and they have all indicated my LMP as the 19th Dec 07, my EDD is the 24th September, meaning I concieved around 1-3rd Jan 08. I am worried that I could have concieved at end of November. please help!

with an EDD of Sept 24 there is now way you concieved in November I am due Aug 24 and I know I concieved Dec 1 and 3rd so there is no way you are due a month later and concieved a month earlier

Yes you had a period so therefore couldnt of been pregnant then even though some people do still have their periods and can still be pregnant but its quite rare. Your scan shows that you would have conceived in Jan so that is the accurate source of info so i really wouldnt worry anymore you didnt conceive in November. You seem quite stressed out about the fact you may have conceived in November?

Thats what I thought. common sense tells you that you had to have concieved after your period as the fact that you had a period means that that you were not pregnant before.  There seems to be so much conflicting stuff out there on the net.

Your due date is on or around 24th September same as Tarajanes made it.
Scans are the most accurate as they give more info as they can measure the size and see how big the baby is etc...
Looks like you got pregnant early January not November

The date you have seems right,if your last period was 19th december,you got pregnant around 2nd jan.you cant have concieved in nov as you had period dec.my dates give 24th september due date.google pregnancy calculater.scans are usually most accurate,give or take a day or 2....
