tearing of abdominal wall

Im 30+1 weeks and I have been having intense searing pain under my left rib. I went to chiropractor thinking baby pushed my ribs out, and he said it wasn't my ribs and to get gallbladder checked. Well it turns out baby has grown so fast in the last week that it is tearing my abdominal wall. Her butt is right up against my left ribs and feet under my ribs pushing on the tear. There is nothing they can do for it, and the amount if pain relievers they would have to give me to give me any relief would not be safe for my unborn daughter. The only way i get any sleep is on my back, my left side increases the rib pain and my left hip is out so it hurts to lay that way. Laying that way for an hour relieves the pain til i get up and talking is even painful, as well as not being able to eat. I am anemic from it, and I also have an almost 3 yr old daughter to care for, my husband works ALOT. Anyone else have this or have any suggustions on what i can do? Heat and ice dont work. Massage helps only while laying on back and only while its happening. Also, am i hurting my baby laying on my back?

I really don't know what to tell you for relief, because  I know any kind of tear similar to that is incredibly painful :-(  I've torn muscles before when not pregnant and was so happy for pain killers while healing :-( as for laying on your back, I laid on my back my entire first pregnancy and my son came out fine.  If you're worried, get an extra pillow or two and prop you're upper half a little.  It'll help relieve any pressure you may possibly put on the arteries in your torso.
