Urgent Care Visit... Need advice...

So I took a trip to urgent care last night because I was having some spotting and started having some pain on my right side so I was thinking either a cyst or ectopic. The PA sent me for an ultra sound and the baby is showing about 6 weeks, but my HCG level is around 8759 which is between 4-5 weeks..... The baby's heart rate is 109BPM's and the ultrasound tech said that is normal for a 6 week baby. My question is this....Is that a normal heart rate for a 6 week baby? And If so, why is my hormone level only showing 4-5 weeks when the baby is measuring 6 weeks ? I am totally thinking something is wrong... My husband keeps telling me to relax, especially since I saw the baby's heart beat... But I cant help it.. This baby is a miracle as I was told that I could not have anymore and it's been 5 year's since I was pregnant.... So this is like starting all over for me.. .LOL...... Can someone help ease my mind ? Here is a few pics they gave me last night of the ultrasound...

HGC levels dont really matter, as long as ur baby has a heart beat all is fine. Im from UK and they dont even take bloods or do any tests until 12wks. Just relax and enjoy growing ur little miracle x x x

Normal heartrate for 6 week fetus is approx 90-110 beats per minute.  The normal range of HCG at 6 weeks based on AVERAGE pregnancies is  1,080 - 56,500 mIU/ml.  What you have described sounds like a normal, healthy pregnancy.

Hcg levels are not exactly accurate. U/s at that stage are. I got mine at 5 weeks and no heart beat. Hcg levels saying between 3-4 weeks. I think it's cuz u/s use gestation age (from lmp) and hcg hormones only start producing after implanation occurs. Which is about 1-2 weeks after lmp.

I am a mother of 6 and agree with everyone else.  Everything sounds great.  Just try to stay off your feet and get as much rest as you can!

Lol.. Kinda hard to do that.... It is like starting all over for me.. My last baby was born 5 year's ago! LOL.. So it's like being a new mom all over again.. I just had a friend of mine who is an LPN tell me that the baby's heart rate and my HCG level didn't seem right ...... That's why I kinda freaked out..... But anyway... Thanks guys...

I just wanted to add that I also agree! I think your ultrasound sounded great! You saw a hb and your baby is growing on target! You will never relax but just trust that all is well!

I agree with clysta.

HCG levels vary a lot and don't mean much once a HB is detected.

The HB is great!

Congrats.

Hcg levels vary so I wouldnt worry about that.  For 6 weeks that is a good heartrate.  I would rest as much as possible and try not to worry.  I had bleeding pain and spotting from 6-15 weeks with my first son and he is now 8.  Good luck to you.

The level itself doesn't matter. The important thing for the hCG level is that they're doubling as they should. The heartbeat sounds fine. It starts to beat at around 5 weeks, and is only 80-85 beats to start with. As pregnancy progresses it starts to get faster. (It will increase by about 3 beats a day)
