Venting....Opinions??

Sorry for the two posts.... I need to vent... DH has been cleaning the house and does have a long hour commute to work both ways.. I work full time as well - very stressful postion in the financial industry.  This is my 4th pregnancy - 1st miscarriage - 2nd hospitalized at 19 weeks for pretern labor - spent 15 weeks there. 3rd cerclage at 13 weeks pelvic rest for remainder of the pregnancy.  Now this brings me to my NEW DH... I am not permitted to get excitied as it can bring on contractions..(pelvic rest). I had the cerclage procedure 1 week ago.  DH asked me for some (actually all my) participation in "helping him" I said he could do it alone.... he said "you need to sacrafice a little and stop being so selfish" - OMG.. Am I over reacting?? I went through IVF... daily injections since June - Retrival of 25.. yes 25 egs.. you know how painful one can be during your regular cycle - try 25 mature ones... A very painful implantion procdure as my cervix would not cooperate.. Failed cycle - Injections again (not to mention all the bloodwork) - Sucessful cycle - Cerclage surgery with spinal... I CAN"T GET EXCITED LET ALONE TO COMPLETION... Am I over reacting.. or is he just being selfish...

I feel for you as i think things would be the same for me if i were in your shoes, i don't have an answer for you but do wish you good luck for a healthy pregnancy and marriage.

thanks... it is just hard because this is his first pregnancy - he just does not get it...

It sounds like you need to talk to your husband about these accusations. It isn't fair that he is blaming it on your being selfish. I have gone through all of the shots and bulls!t that goes along with it, and you should be praised for being so understanding with your condition. Don't let him get you down, but definitely talk to him about it.
