Is anyone else on WIC? I just got on it and plan on making my first trip to the store with it tonight.. i was wondering how to get the most out of your money when buying fruits and vegtables? Meaning like should I buy fresh, per pound fruits and veggies? Or bagged or frozen fruits and veggies? I get $10 a month for fruits and vegetables.

Fresh fruit is better .. last time I use frozen with my wic I could only get 2 bags of fruit because they're 5 dollars each

I love wic and in Virginia they have it on a card . only thing is u have to keep up with the receipt.  But I always get fresh fruit and canned veggies

I also have WIC! :) I go with fresh for fruit and veggies but I'd like to try frozen to see what's better! Yes pay close attention to the W on the price tags if you shop at Walmart ;)

I have WIC and I love it!! I tend to stick to fresh fruits and veggies but that's bc it's my preference and honestly I tend to end up with only fruits. Lol... be sure you keep up with the price of EVERYTJING as you go. And when using the other vouchers pay attention to is and isn't WIC approved. Its easy at food lion but at Wal-Mart you really have to look closely for the little yellow W thats on the stickers.

I didn't know you could by frozen fruit. I only by fresh fruit, but i mean i never tried. Cause i thought it was just fresh fruit and veggies but i could be wrong.

For fruits I buy them fresh and veggies I get those frozen :)

I always get fresh because that's all I'll eat! They are way more expensive so you get less, but it's all up to you and what you eat (:
