spotting

This is my first pregnancy and I am 9 weeks tomorrow, I had spotting on Thursday and none since, it was only the one occurance which was as soon as I woke up that morning and that was it. I am just wondering if it is normal or if I should be worried?

Spotting is normal, but make sure you mention it when you go to the doctor, it is something they will want to keep an eye on.

It wasn't bright red but it did have a pinky red tinge to it
