I'm going to the dyes and things and irritate the babies skin plus you never know if someone had it around the house then decided to take it back
I washed all my babies clothes and blankets as I was told thats what you need to do I dont know why though lol
I wash bc u never no if ppl hands r clean before the touched it in the store the could be sick touching baby clothes
I'm going to wash all my baby girls closed before she wears them. I don't know who all has touched them, who has what so just to be safe i'm washing everything i know i will use, other things i'm gonna leave on the tag just in case the baby shower has multiples or she doesn't get around to wearing everything cuz how fast she grows.
I washed everything I bought so far even the car seat and stroller.. I also bought a brand new crib and I even wiped the wood with that furniture cleaning wipes things it's cause you never know whos touched it at the store and germs are just a no no for baby's
I reccomend washing them first. Newborns skin is very sensitive to the dyes that rub off of clothing, and anyone who is sick and has touched those clothes has infected them with germs.
Def wash them before you put them in your baby. You really should wash anything you buy for yourself too before wearing it. But for baby especially, its just as important as sterilizing the bottles, nipples, and pacifiers.
This is my 3rd baby and with my previous two I always washed thwir clothes and blankets before they wore it. We dont know how long tjose clothes were in the store. They can be dusty or dirty. And newborns skin is very sensitive.
They put chemicals on clothes to keep bugs off them when in storage and transport so I always wash everything before anyone wears it.
Thanks ladies! iHad no clue that they spray clothes for pest! Definetly gna wash before wear:)
Yes, defiantly wash the clothes. I've washed his clothes once already and goin' to wash 'em again In a few weeks when I get closer to havin' him since like the ladies said, you never know whose dirty hands have been on them. I work at Walmart and seen a lot of clothes that has dirty hand prints on them and a whole bunch of Icky stuff. In fact, juss yesterday when I was zoning (folding clothes and puttin' them In the correct spots, etc.) I came across a Pj set that had throw up on It! It was so disgusting and they juss put It back on the rack! So I had to claims out that shirt plus the ones It was touchin' plus the ones around It. So defiantly wash the clothes!
Ew! Ppl are so disrespectful! -&gross.
Oh yea! I've seen It all since workin' In retail! They really can be!
