I'm not planning on washing clothes before my baby wears them. But if you do that you just have to pay attention. Some babies have more sensitive skin then others so it may irritate them. If it doesn't then there's no need. If you see the clothes does irritate then yes of course wash them.

I washed All my baby's clothes, and blankets. Unless They came in a gift set Or until opened package. But anything That was able to be touched by strangers in a store or dropped on a dirty floor or ground i washed. I use baby body wash or shampoo to wash them too. Its gentle, nice smell, and alot cheaper then laundry soap.

I wash all my clothes before I wear them, you don't know what chemicals are put on them to protect them during shipment or what could be on them from the factories. Plus I love the smell and feel of clean clothes so I want my baby to have the same lol

I washed my baby's clothes because baby's skin are really sensitive. You're supposed to wash them on gentle so they don't lose color and also dry on low so they don't shrink. My baby's clothes still look brand new like they were just bought.

I personally prefer to wash the clothes that my baby will be wearing. Maybe not all of them but most of them that im certain baby will wear. Ive worked in a lot of retail stores and those clothes are handled by lots of dirty unfamiliar hands and thrown around everywhere. They may look clean but doesnt mean they are. I wouldnt risk not washing especially because I know my kids skin tend to be very sensitive. To each their own but just my personal experience. Take care :)

I think you should only wash the blankets socks etc. you don't wanna wash the new clthoes and one they either get smaller and he's not able to wear them or they lose color and they don't look that new
