Help me out here!

So I'm 16, about to be 17, yes I know I'm young and I don't need any negative comments. I have gotten pregnant before and sadly, have had a miscarriage. Therefore, this is my second time being pregnant. I found out I was pregnant just a couple days ago. I've just been worried that the same thing might happen again, i mean does having a miscarriage the first time mean anything?? & also , how can I find out how far along I am ?

I previously had a miscarriage and now I'm 32 weeks my doctor said it doesn't matter because it's different genes goin together and your less likely to miscarry again good luck xx

No previous miscarriage does not affect your ability to carry a child to full term at all. Even if your Dr won't see you until after 8 weeks call now to make the appt. It might take them a week or so to fit you in. I had to wait a week when I made my first appt. Miscarriage happens because there is a problem with the embryo 90% of the time, though things like drinking, smoking, excessive caffeine consumption and lifting heavy weights can impact. Eat healthy and get some pre-natal vitamins to improve your chances of a healthy pregnancy. Good luck

↑kate is wrong smh miscarriage usually happens because there is a problem with developing embryo
Nothin to do with your body♡ once a girls period starts her body can hold a baby.
And older women are at higher risk btw... biological clock n all dat!

Congratulations and keep in touch xx

Yes previous miscarriage effects it. You're body is telling you it's not ready to carry a child. Good luck tho

You're due January 14th 2015. But when you have an ultrasound they'll tell you better if it changes. So you're 6 weeks 4 days. Call a doctor anyway call a few of them and find one that will give you an appointment the soonest. And ask about ultrasounds I would go somewhere that gave me less then 3 but I go somewhere that gives them every time I go in which is amazing.

Thank you everyone for responding! :) well my last period was around the 9th of April. I heard that you can't set an appointment up till you're about 8 weeks prego, is that right? & im glad that having a miscarriage the first time doesnt mean anything in particular. I will continue to remain positive about things! :)

Doctors count it from the first day of your last period. Like mine was January 11th so today I'm 19weeks. And no kjust because you had a miscarriage doesn't mean you'll have another one. Things just happen. And nobody will give you negetivity there are 15 year olds on here.

Go to the doctors and get an ulrasound, that's the most accurate way of determining how far along you are. And having a previous miscarriage doesn't mean you will miscarry every pregnancy. You always have a chance of miscarriage. Just try to be positive.
