Way TMI and super embarrassing but help! Hemorrhoids..:(

Eeek! I have had two children prior to this pregnancy and developed hemorrhoids both pregnancies but they were just uncomfortable and cleared up rather quickly.. this time around i have them SO BAD i could cry! I cannot sit on the toilet to even urinate because the pressure is too much and i literally feel like someone is trying to shove a giant broken thorny stick in that area! I've tried hot bathes, tucks pads, preparation H and oral pain medication and NOTHING is helping. I'm worried i'll become constipated so i've been taking a stool softnes which helps a little in that department but they've been there for over a week and seem to be getting progressively worse! whats going to happen when i push to give birth? are the going to burst or something? ugh! anything else i can try?! please i'm pretty desperate at this point.

If those tips don't work go to the dr they can even give you injections in the hem of steroids to shrink them.

I too had them with this last pregnancy, and I thought I was dying lol...as embarrassing as it was, I had to go to the dr...He told me to use the Prep H cooling gel, tucks, warm baths, and ice packs...so here is how I did it, and it took like two weeks to clear, but oh my gosh it worked...I would take a warm bath, then use an ice pack immediately after for like 20 minutes, it will numb your behind so beware...then I would put on some of the prep H cooling gel. and ANYTIME I used the potty I always wiped my behind with a tucks pad...oh yeah and I used the medicated prep H pads to wipe too...just make sure if you use the maximum prep H cooling gel to not get it internal..you may have a small clot that is in the hemmorhoid( I did) and the warm bath, and ice pack will help break it up...I am so sorry that you have to go through this..I really hope it gets better for you. If none of these tips work, go to the dr hun they have prescription strength meds that are suppose to work

sorry this is gross but no way to get around it with hemmerhoids, lol. I had them BAD with  my daughter...during delivery they pushed out which is actually very common. the doctor pushed them back in, but you can do it yourself with some vaseline. that sounds awful, but it relieves the external pressure and they only hurt when you're pottying once they're pushed back in. You want to be very careful not to rupture them or cause them to bleed because they can get infected (I asked my MIL about this)...you may want to buy some latex gloves to go with the vaseline so you don't have to worry about your nails scratching them.If they aren't sticking out then stool softeners and lots of water are your best treatments for them, but you can also buy medicine and gently (using gloved fingers) put some slightly up into your behind to relieve the pain...they recommend NOT inserting it into your behind but...apparently whoever wrote that has never had hemmerhoids...you DO need to use gloves if you're going to do that, though, so you don't introduce the risk of infection...you can buy latex gloves at your closest pharmacy for cheap.

all you do is reach back there, gently push them back into your behind if they're out...and it helps relieve a lot of the pain. however, you can buy and use Preparation H and/or Tucks medicated wipes with witch hazel...both will give you a LOT of relief :).

sorry if i repeated myself I'm running around like a chicken with my head cut off...i hope these suggestions help...you can also fill a sock with rice, tie the sock up, then put the sock into the microwave for a minute or more (until it's comfortably heated) and put it directly under your bum. hope you feel better soon....you're ALMOST there!
