I feel the same way Hun.. I have only gained 4 pounds and I'm 26+2 I lost 15 pounds in my first trimester.. but every time I have to go to the Dr and weigh myself I get really stressed out about the numbers on the scale. My baby girl is doing good.. she is in the 89th percentile for weight at her gestational age and my Dr told me that it's OK as long as baby is healthy... so I'm happy.. I just don't know why they tell you to gain 25-35 pounds if its okay not to gain so much.
Im 40weeks today and only gained 6lbs. Im.as healthy as a bull and my son weights about 8lbs 3oz as of last week. Of course not accurate but hes rougly a really good weight. My dr made me do three ultrasound in my last trimester to keep an eye on his weight and ges doing great! So im not worried, just means less baby weighy to lose thats all. As long as hes healthy im happy!
I don't get it either. All lthe numbers have just had me really concerned. I'm glad that I'm not the only one that is going through this though and their baby is fine. I've just had a lot of morning sickness and barley keep anythign down. Plus I guess the fact that I am trying to stay fairly active. I lost a lot of weight my first trimester too, I think around 12-18 pounds but not for sure how much exactly. I'm glad to hear your litttle girl is doing good though!! :)
@BabyTurnip glad to hear your little man is doing good!! And lol yeah, it should be easier to lose that 6lb than it would be the amount you're told to gain. He sounds pretty big too!! Are you going to be induced??
