What Do You Guys Think??

So for those of you that don't already know, I had a miscarriage last year at 12 weeks and 3 days.. but I am almost 100% sure the baby died weeks before I actually past it.  Anyways, with that being said I have been horrified my entire pregnancy this time because I really can never go through something like that again.  It has been hard to get my hopes up in fear to be heartbroken again.  Well.. I am now 15 weeks and 2 days (since it's after midnight)  yesterday I went to my doctors appointment and they felt my uterus they said they do feel growth and then they listened to the heartbeat via doppler it was 160 bpm.  I had my first ultrasound at 7 weeks and I seen and heard the heartbeat then too and it was at 136 bpm at that time.  I sometimes think that I might feel flutters!  My question is:  What do you guys think?  Do you think it's safe for me to get excited now?  What do you guys think my chances are of having another miscarriage?  I wish I could just listen to the heartbeat all day, it's the best sound in the world!  Thanks!!  :))

15 weeks is pretty much in the clear. The odds of having a miscarriage now are way way way less than before 12 weeks. I know how you feel though. I had a miscarriage one month before I got pregnant with this baby. I've had to fight myself to stay positive and to remember to have faith and know that this little baby has a mission and whatever it may be it will change my life for the better. Sometimes I think I had the miscarriage so that I would appreciate this baby that much more. Don't lose hope. Your sweet baby will be here soon. And you just might be feeling the baby move! I felt mine move at 14 weeks! Its amazing, and the weeks to come will only amaze you more. Best of luck to you and your sweet little one.

Well, they said they COULD feel my growth in my uterus lol.  They felt it growing upwards.  I am just so worried.  160 bpm is normal.. right?

I wouldn't worry! Hearing that heartbeat is all that matters. Feeling from the outside for growth isnt accurate either....trust me. The only way to determine appropriate growth is through a sono. Don't let them scare you. I'm sure everything is going just perfect!

Hi Des92! Be as happy as you can now!!! Don't be afraid! I had a miscarriage 9 months prior to this pregnancy and felt freaked out by losing this baby too but I found peace of mind when I prayed and I asked God for guidance. My husband has been a huge encouragement too, Helping me to feel more at ease and blessed with this baby. Stress free is the key to a healthy pregnancy & God. I am now 18 wks and going strong. I have faith that this baby will be safe. I hope you can find comfort soon to stop worrying about the previous loss. Good luck hun!

I had a miscarriage 4 month before this pregancy at 6w5d. I am now 29 weeks! 15 weeks is a pretty great chance you'll be in the clear. It's the second trimester. Best wishes. Buy a fetal Doppler to listen to the heartbeat yourself if you like. :)
