What happens at the tour?
I have my hospital tour tomorrow, and its two hours long. I know they give you the your but do they do other stuff? Cause 2 hours seems really long considering our hospital is so small and try only do labor and delivery now cause a new hospital in the town next to us.
Okay cool, I've already preregistered when I went in for cramping a few weeks ago.
Mine always included a tour of the labor and delivery room, look at the nursery, NICU, meet a lactation consultant, explanation of rules and procedures of the birthplace, and pre registration. Many hospitals like you to pre register at the tour, even if you are unsure if you may deliver there. This saves you from trying to answer questions between contractions.
