Thank you so much for your advice you have answered my question and made me feel so much better, yeah it is really hard but it's all worth it :) thanks again xxx
If it was a problem you would be throwing up and pooping a whole lot so if in 24hrs after eating it you are still feeling the same as before you ate the sauce you are good to go. It's hard at the beginning you have to remind yourself you cannot do or have this that and the other. Deli lunch meat and hot dogs need to be heated all the way through till steaming before eaten, no runny yolk eggs, no raw eggs, limit caffeine, no alcohol, certain meds not ok, certain herbs (vitamins) not ok, heck we shouldn't even jump on trampolines lol it's a lot to remember and I'm sure I'm leaving something out... But we all make mistakes we are human. I ate frozen yogurt while pregnant and got sick from it. Violently ill. You would know if this happens it's more violent puking than when you have the flu and then you feel like you are going to poop your brains out an that lasts at least a week usually. But my OB said it isn't blood born so can't effect the baby just it no fun for us and we have to worry about dehydration.
Thank you, when you mean I will be sick do you mean vomiting ? I havnt really had much preg symptoms apart from tired and a little light headed when I stand up all day and I've had the flu but no vomiting.
as said above you should be ok, if it was an issue you would be sick already. The issue with hollandaise sauce is that it has raw eggs in it, so if there was listeria or something in those eggs you would get sick, anyone would but its harmful to a fetus thats why us pregos should stay clear of it...along with a list of other things!
It should be ok. You will know if it caused a problem because you would get violently I'll.
