Am I pregnant again?

I had an abortion 3 weeks ago.  My husband and I started having unprotected sex 2 weeks after the procedure.  I just had a hpt and it came out positive.  Could it be that I am pregnant again or is it my hcg level is still high after my previous pregnancy?

I'm very sorry to hear that.  It's a difficult situation.  JUst keep your faith.  I know the Lord is great & He will provide for you.  I will pray for you and your hubby!  Jesus is the miracle man!  There is NOTHING He can't do, I know!  It will all be ok.  Just wait a week or two & retest, if you get a +, see a doctor.  If you are preg again, just pray about it.  The Lord will see you through.  I'll keep you in my prayers.

Oh so you had a Miscarriage?  And then a D&C I'm assuming?  I'm sorry for your loss but I'd say that it's possible to have ovulation 2 weeks after a MC and then a week later to get a + HPT could mean new pregnancy but also could still be lingering HCG but I just had a MC and my HCG levels went down in a week but I've heard of women getting pregnant so soon.  Good luck.

Well, my husband and I were excited about our last pregnancy.  However, he is a cancer survivor and he just finished his treatments in 05/2007.  I conceived in 07/2007.  After several visits, the doctor was unable to see a heartbeat.  After talking to a genetic counselor, we decided to went ahead with the procedure.  We were hoping to wait it out, but didn't want to wait 'til it's too late.  And now we are here again.  We didn't plan to get pregnant so soon again, but we will do everything we can to make it work.

Also if you had an abortion & you don't want a baby.  You should really consider getting on birth control.  If you want to have unprotected sex, but don't want a baby bc should really be an option 4 you.  There are so many women out there who can't have children & want them.  I know it's none of my business or my place to preach to you.  If you do happen to get preg again & don't want the baby, then why not adoption?  It's not the babies fault you got preg.  The baby is a life, a very innocent one at that.  I don't know your situation or why you had it & it's not my place to judge.  But please try bc or condoms or something if you don't want a baby.  May the Lord bless you & your life.
