What is the brown discharge with spotting mean?

I just had my son about 33 days ago and I stopped bleeding already but I was spotting so I thought it was my period I still have a few weeks til the end of April to start my normal period but ha brown discharge with blood this week what does it mean. Blood is off and on comes and goes so I'm confused on when my period is mind you I had my tubes tied too.

So, t takes a while for most women to bounce back with a regular period after giving birth and you are not even yet at the 6 week mark.  If you nurse, you won't have a regular cycle until you are done nursing and if you didn't nurse, your hormones are still adjusting.  Brown blood is old blood.  That's not uncommon after birth.  It can just be old left over blood.  We also do have a response to hormonal changes (such as giving birth and then no baby hormones anymore) of spotting too.  So, I'd say what you are experiencing is pretty normal after birth.  When do you have your after baby well check? It's usually at 6 weeks. That would be a good time to discuss this with your doctor.  And congrats on the baby!!  Enjoy!!
