Worried about pregnancy

I'm wondering if anyone can help me.  I have yet to set an appointment with my Obgyn, so if anyone has accurate answers to this please let me know, and I apologize for it being a bit graphic, but that's the nature of these things.  I had sex with my boyfriend a week ago, which was on the first day of my period.  He got me into doing it during that time, which I was at first against, but found to be not such a big deal.  Anyway, in all the times we've done it during my period, he's never worn a condom, but he's always pulled out beforehand, except for this time.  He told me I can't get pregnant if we do it with my period, but I wasn't so sure about that and told him to pull out.  Well, this time, I let him ejaculate inside of me, because I figured if I hadn't gotten pregnant the other times, even though he always pulled out, chances were slim this time.  Problem is I wasn't sure and now I'm kicking myself for letting him do that because I was reading online that it's possible to get pregnant.  I pretty much just went with the moment and trusted that it would be safe without really knowing for sure.  So, is it possible I can be pregnant?  I'm freaking out because I am not ready to have a child.  I'm 28, but I'm in no financial condition to do so.  Second, shortly after we did that, like the next day, I got a yeast infection, so is it possible that the blood mixed with the semen could have caused the yeast infection?  HELP!

Actually, yes you can get pregnant while on your period.... Sometimes a woman can double ovulate, so when she has her period one egg is being "bled out" and another is still fertile.... It is VERY possible that you could be pregnant but I would wait a few weeks and see if you miss your next period and then do a test... But yes.. You can get pregnant while on your period... Got pregnant with my daughter that way, and my mom did with me... ;)

I'm unsure about the infection, but it is possible you could get pregnant from this. The odds are not high, but it does happen. Normally a female doesn't ovulate so soon after their cycle or during, but odd things can mess it up. An irregular cycle can cause it as well. Since you stated you're not stable for children, it would be good to use protection, period or not. There is never a safe time for unprotected sex.
