I have to have c-sections, my pelvis just doesn't expand enough to push a baby through plus my cervix is facing oddly. I've already had 2 & having my 3rd on the first. But once you have one you do not have to always have them. Women have Vbac's all the time.
This give me ese lol thanks ladies and your welcome @Julia
Unless theres a medical reason which means you can't give birth naturally, Drs (over here in UK anyway) actively encourage you to try a vbac. I had an emergency section 8w ago and the consultant came to speak to me after and said she always encourages her patients to try vbac for their next child, but ill need another section if i have more children apparently x
I've been wondering the same thing! Thanks for the question!
No not true at all! I had my first two vaginally, then my 3rd c-section because she was breech. My c-section was November 2011 and I'm due on the 21at of this month with number 4. I was/am going for a vbac if lil man turns as he is breech as well.
No, not true, my first daughter was born via c-section at 33wks, and then i had my son 3 years later via VBAC. I just had my third via VBAC too. I was told by my hospital if there was at least a 2 year gap between my c section and the next baby i could try vaginal. Any earlier, like getting pregnant in the first year or so was automatic c section again because of the risk of the scar rupturing.
No thats not true, i know a few women who have given birth via c-section then given birth naturally with their second child.
