No im in england. south east...
Oops, sorry I thought you were in Plano. I must have been thinking of someone else here . . .
You may get induced at the end so you may have a little time to plan.
You could sign her up at a drop in day care center (I googled them and Plano has several) where you can drop her for a few hours while your friend/aunt/boyfriend's family come in to town.
This is a priority thing - it's not like you're asking for child care so you can go get your hair cut, and those who are close to you will probably be willing to go to some effort to do this.
Best wishes -
No i am a lonely child and his brother lives hours and hours up the country... i have my friends as the main person ive asked and she will do whatever she can to get here. as for backups.. i only have my mum or aunty.. but like i said my mum isnt the best as id be worried the whole time and my aunty doesnt drive and works everyday... it would be simple if babys had a time and date and came at that time lol...
Neither of u have brothers or sisters to watch her?? I'm having the hubby's sister watch our son when I go into labor. Unless she's at work that night then it'll have to be my grandmother
meatball, you need to have several people lined up - because it's likely that when you go into labor, someone will be out of town, or sick, or have some huge commitment they can't get out of, etc.
You can probably leave your child with your mom for long enough for your friend/relative whose going to do the actual caretaking to arrive.
Watching someone's baby while the mom is in labor is a commitment and an honor. I would think whoever is special enough to you for you to ask would take the commitment seriously and a few hours driving time or taking a day off work won't take priority.
I dont want to be alone during labour and dont want him to miss the birth.... My mum isnt reliable as she is dependant on vodka every bloody night and doest do nappys so id be worried of her hygene... and my bfs parents live hours and hours up the country.... so they cant get her in time... all we have is our friend so just hoping she can defo get here nomatter what time if day...
Can your babies, father watch her or the other grandparents. Im going through this to so im just having my baby at home;(
