tripple screen tested positive?

I'm currently 16 weeks and just got my results from my tripple screen blood test which came back positive?  Doctor said my dates are wrong? Any one had an problem like this. How many had healthy babys after testing positive?

My sister had her last pregnancy test positive for Down syndrome and my niece is perfectly healthy :)

After I said no to the testing my doctor said good because they don't like to do it anyways. Basically they have to offer it but they don't like to get the mommies worked up because its wrong. I think its more than 75% false positive.. don't stress Hun.

Ya it bugged me cuz after I tested positive the doctor acted like its no big deal and it could be wrong.  So I'm thinking what's the point of this stupid test if its wrong so often??

Eh, I wouldn't stress about that sweetie. Those tests are not accurate at all. Everyone that I know that has got a positive test, ended up having perfectly healthy children. Not one time has it been right. You're going to love that little baby no matter what anyway, so just keep positive =)
