I'm really small. I'm not even 5 foot and with my first baby I didn't show till like the 3rd month but with this one I'm almost 9 weeks and I have a little bit of a belly especially after I eat. Ugh! :)
I was extremely bloated at around 7 weeks and couldn't fit into any of my jeans, so I bought some maternity pants (and never looked back). But I started to obviously look pregnant at around 18-19 weeks. Before that I just looked like I had gained some weight. But at around 20 weeks I had neighbors and other people asking me if I was pregnant, so that's why I really know it was noticable. I'm now 31 weeks and there's nooooo denying it!
I am wearing what I call my fat pants. I put away about 3 pairs of my slim fitting jeans a couple weeks ago. I am 12 weeks today. My belly has been poochy for quite a while since I am on progesterone supplements. I can tell when I lay down that there is a hard grapefruit just above my pelvic bone. I am actually excited to get into maternity myself....
Today pants that fit fine a week ago are kinda tight on the button area. But I think I'm just bloated.
I am 22 weeks and FEEL huge. Everyone says that if I'm wearing a jacket or sweatshirt that I don't look pregnant at all. A friend I hadn't seen in a while obviously didn't know I was pregnant. When I took off my sweatshirt he looked at me and said "Dang Gina!, what happened to you!"
My belly is certainly out there, and growing! I started showing noticably at 14 weeks.
This is my first. I wasn't slim to begin with, but I didn't really start to show until about 20 - 24 weeks. Now am just past 32 weeks and how pregnant I look depends on what I'm wearing - I do have a belly, but it kind of looks fat rather than pregnant. I've even had people commenting that I've gained weight and then being shocked when I told them that I'm actually pregnant.
My tummy is kind of round but is not really sticking out in a pregnant kind of way.
Interesting, my Obe last monday commented that when i'm lying down my tummy is still more or less flat (well, a rounded kind of flat) and just spread out. She said she's noticed that girl babies tend to lie flatter than boy babies who tend to make their mummies tummies stick way out.
Guess we're all different.
